  1. There were plenty of games prior to Super Mario Bros where you could go left.
And Metroid Prime wouldn’t have been the first game in the series to have voice acting at the beginning of the game. Super Metroid started with the vocal dialog “The last metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace.”.
Nothing about Justin Bailey or Narpas Sword?

  2. Another fact, the music that plays when you get a new item is the exact same music that is played on the Y’s series when you get an item.

  3. Okay, this is what needs to happen. Metroid Prime is its own series of spin-off games with their own continuity and with a pretty different Samus. They should make Other M non-canon and make a super up-to-date Metroid game. I mean third person, brand new, whatever they can think off, reimagining the series. It needs to be super good by the way, like Breath Of The Wild good. Also, and this would be controversial, I think it would be a good idea to give Samus a voice, but doing it right. Jennifer Hale would be sooo perfect for it (who didn’t love FemShep?). We all know she should be allowed to be the badass she is. Nintendo, make it happen!

  4. Samus talking wasn’t the problem…it was the shit writing and awful line delivery.

    also interesting:

Metroid II: Return of Samus is the only game in the franchise that it’s creator had no involvement with

it took way longer than it should have for Nintendo to realize the genius of Metroid Pinball….even Mario became a pinball before Samus’s Morph ball did ffs

Agreed. I don’t mind Samus talking as long as her voice/dialogue fits her character and personality…which is something that a certain Metroid game FAILED at! 😡

  5. we need a metroid prime hunters remake for the christ sake. i mean we got all these class based shooters going around these days, like paladins, tf2, overwatch, destiny 1 and 2, dirty bomb, etc, and metroid prime hunters would be right up that alley

  6. You guys are so stupid in hating Samus having a voice. I mean, come on! The silent protagonist should almost be considered dead.
